But one of the things I learned is that when you fight for something you believe in and you tell the truth and you do your best, you can always hold your head up high and no one can take that away from you.
We are in the last mile of our journey to the top; the pinnacle of our journey is in sight. Our cake is baked and ready to ice! What’s our icing? We’ll use wisdom, effectiveness, financial security, and assuring that we are fully contributing, personally and professionally successful. We focus on what it takes to not just be good, but exceptional, consistently wise and effective, in what we do, and how we do it, and integrates financial reality with all aspects of what we can truly contribute. Working on how you are “fully contributing” is expected to both push out the boundaries of your personal effectiveness and financial security and even your life purpose, to assure you truly “being the best you can be.”
Activities assess and enhance your ability to fully contribute.
This goal/chapter 17, the Life’s Purpose Game, and the final goal to “maintain balance” are truly self-actualizing goals that rely on a very strong foundation of elements of the other 11 Wellness Compass goals. Everyone seeking to fully contribute are encouraged to do the final (sometime only) activity related to all the previous goals that can be most easily located in the downloads menu and complete:
- Activity 14.1 Building Blocks to Accomplish My Life’s Purpose
- Activity 14.2 My Life Purpose Statement
Each of the activities in this chapter assists in a difference piece of enhancing your ability to fully contribute. Those who have already obtained the financial security they desire need not review activities 17.3 and 17.4, and instead are encouraged to focus on enhancing their wisdom, effectiveness, and assess the extent to which their Life Purpose reflects how much they can truly contribute to their loved ones, their profession, and to their community.
- Activity 17.1 Ideas for Greater Wisdom.
- Activity 17.2 Seven Habits Profile
- Activity 17.3 Basic Financial Security Assessment
- Activity 17.4 Developing and Sticking to a Spending Plan
- Activity 17.5 Giving Back Self-Assessment
